Banquet of Delight - May 2009
The first fundraising Banquet of Delight was a delightful success. Diners enjoyed a guided meditation, and a four course oriental-inspired meal. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend the evening with the extended community of South London meditators. All proceeds will go towards the purchase of a larger Dorjechang Centre.
Opening the Wisdom Eye - Autumn 2008
This year’s Autumn festival was held at Disneyland Paris, where Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso granted Prajnaparamita empowerment and gave teachings on developing our wisdom. On a backdrop of themed restaurants and hotels, an array of Disney characters and 3 nights of spectacular fireworks, a meaningful and enriching time was had by all.
Medicine Buddha Empowerment 2008
Held in June at Dorjechang Centre, Wimbledon, this auspicious event gave us the opportunity to receive the healing blessings of Medicine Buddha and learn powerful methods to overcome physical and mental difficulties, and to develop internal health and strength.
Spring Festival, 2008
2500 people visited Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, Ulverston, England, for a long weekend in May to receive teachings, meditate, and enjoy a meaningful holiday with Dharma practitioners worldwide.

Emptiness Day Retreat 2008
During this enlightening weekend in April, Tara Centre in Etwall, Derby, hosted Dorjechang Centre’s retreat on emptiness. Led by Gen Sangye, and surrounded by the picturesque grounds at Tara Centre, everyone gained their own personal experience of the true nature of things.
